Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you enter the campaign, we collect:

• Your mobile number, used to send and verify your OTP
• Your name, the province you're from, and the Story Category you choose
• The voice recording or uploaded audio of your Nice Story — which may include other people's voices if you feature them
• Basic technical details (like device or browser type) needed to keep the platform running smoothly

We don't independently collect your Facebook or Instagram data — following our pages and commenting happens directly on those platforms, and is covered by their own privacy policies (see Section 5).

2. How We Use It

We use this information to:

• Verify your mobile number with an OTP
• Process and judge your entry
• Contact you if you're selected as a winner
• Create an AI-generated video if your story is one of the 3 chosen for an AI Reel
• Share stories and winner announcements on our social media, with your consent

We never sell your personal data to anyone.

3. Your Voice & the AI Reel

If your story is picked to become an AI Reel, we send your voice recording and story details to an AI video tool to generate a short video. This video is a creative interpretation of your story — not a word-for-word or scene-for-scene recreation. We'll publish it, along with your name and province, on Maliban's official social media pages.

4. If Your Story Features Someone Else

If you include a friend or family member's voice in your recording, it's your responsibility to let them know their voice may be featured and get their okay first. If someone believes they've been included without their permission, they can contact us using the details in Section 9 to ask for it to be removed.

5. Facebook & Instagram

Following our pages and commenting with your entry image happens on Facebook and Instagram, which are run by Meta. Anything you do on those platforms is covered by Meta's own privacy policy, not this one. We only see what's publicly visible, like your comment on our post.

6. Who Else Sees Your Data

We share your information with:

• Our OTP/SMS provider, so we can verify your mobile number
• Our AI video partner, only for stories selected as AI Reels
• Our campaign or advertising agency, to help run and promote the campaign

We only share what's needed for these purposes, and these partners aren't allowed to use your data for anything else.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your entry details for as long as needed to run the campaign and announce winners, and for [3 months] afterward for our records. If you didn't win, you can ask us to delete your entry sooner.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
